チェンマイ新市街には、おしゃれな雑貨屋さんやお土産店が並ぶストリートがあります。
観光地を巡るだけでなく、街をのんびり散策する時間も旅の楽しみのひとつ。
今回は、2歳の娘と一緒にお気に入りのお土産を探しながら歩いた様子をご紹介します。

🧸 一つひとつ表情が違う手編みのぬいぐるみ
雑貨屋さんを見ていると、手編みで作られたかわいらしいぬいぐるみを発見。
同じ動物でも、一つひとつ顔や形、表情が少しずつ違っていて、まさに世界に一つだけの作品です。
娘ちゃんが一番気に入ったのは、くまのぬいぐるみ。
抱きしめながら、
「くまちゃん、だいすきなの〜！」
と、とても嬉しそうに話していました。
旅先で出会ったお気に入りのお友達になったようです。
娘ちゃんの旅を共にする相棒になっています。
（One of the first things that caught our attention was a collection of handmade crochet dolls.Each one had a different face, expression, and personality.Even though they were all teddy bears, no two looked exactly the same.Our daughter immediately fell in love with one of them.Holding it tightly, she happily said,
“I love my teddy bear!”
It quickly became one of her favorite memories from our trip to Thailand.）
🛍 欲しいものが多すぎる！夢中になった雑貨巡り
チェンマイには、おしゃれな雑貨やかわいい小物が本当にたくさんあります。
お店ごとに置いてある商品が違うので、
「あ、これかわいい！」
「こっちのお店も見てみよう！」
と歩いているうちに、気が付けばかなりの時間が経っていました。
大人も夢中になってしまうほど魅力的なお店ばかりです。

The souvenir shops were filled with beautiful handmade crafts, decorations, and traditional Thai gifts.Every store offered something different.We kept saying,
“Let’s check just one more shop.”
Before we knew it, we had spent hours browsing.There were simply too many wonderful things to look at.）
🥤 たくさん歩いたので広場でひと休み
長時間歩き回ったので、さすがの娘ちゃんも少し疲れた様子。
近くに広場があったので、冷たい飲み物を買って休憩しました。
子ども連れの旅行では、こうした「何もしない時間」も大切ですね。

🐘 ガネーシャ様にごあいさつ
休憩した広場には、立派なガネーシャ様が鎮座していました。
娘ちゃんも周りの人を見ながら、手を合わせてお参り。
小さな手を合わせる姿がとても微笑ましく、思わず写真を撮ってしまいました。
海外のお寺や神様に自然と興味を持ってくれるのも、旅行ならではの経験だと感じました。
（In the square, we found a beautiful shrine dedicated to Ganesha, the Hindu god of wisdom and good fortune.Watching the adults around her, our daughter naturally put her hands together in prayer.Seeing her imitate the local customs was such a heartwarming moment.Travel gives children wonderful opportunities to experience different cultures in a natural way.）
📸 街歩きだけでも楽しいチェンマイ
チェンマイの街を歩いていると、あちこちにユニークなモニュメントがあります。
大きなオブジェやカラフルな像など、大人でも思わず写真を撮りたくなるものばかり。
娘ちゃんも大興奮で、
「ここで撮る！」
と、自分からポーズを決めて記念撮影。
街全体がフォトスポットのようで、歩いているだけでもたくさんの思い出ができました。
（As we continued our walk, we came across several colorful statues and unique monuments.Our daughter became so excited every time she spotted one.She would run over, strike a pose, and ask us to take a picture.Those unexpected little discoveries made our walk even more enjoyable.）

チェンマイの魅力は、有名な寺院だけではありません。
街をのんびり歩きながら雑貨屋さんを巡り、お気に入りのお土産を探したり、かわいいモニュメントを見つけたり。
そんな何気ない時間こそ、家族旅行の素敵な思い出になります。
特に手編みのくまのぬいぐるみは、娘ちゃんにとって今回の旅で一番のお気に入り。
「くまちゃん、だいすきなの〜！」
という一言は、今でも忘れられない旅の思い出です。
